Legendary Bollywood songs you didn’t know were copied part – 2

We are all aware of the hit Bollywood songs that are a part of our life as we listen to them more often. But we are unaware of the fact that some of the hit songs are originally taken from other songs. Here is the list of some songs from the 90s which were copied:

  1. Suniye To from Yes Boss:

This romantic comedy movie Yes Boss adapted its song “Suniye To” from the original version of “Ahla Ma Feki” of Hesham Abbas. The music composers of this film from 1997 were Jatin-Lalit.

  1. Koi Mil Gaya from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai:

The famous college romance of the movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai which was released in the year 1998 made thousands of fans with their song Koi Mil Gaya that was again composed by Jatin-Lalit, who got the inspiration from the original song “Take That Look Off Your Face” by Andrew Lloyd Webber.

  1. Koi Na Koi Chahiye from Deewana:

The romantic movie Deewana which was released in the year 1992 introduced their song “Koi Na Koi Chahiye” which was composed by Nadeem –Shravan who took the idea and music from the “Bird Boy” by Naná Vasconcelos & The Bushdancers.

  1. Pehli Pehli Bar from Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai:

The romantic movie with twists and turns, Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, has got some of the extremely romantic songs of the year when it was released in 1998. The song “Pehli Pehli Bar” from the movie gained recognition with the composer Jatin-Lalit who borrowed the actual essence of the song from the original Born To Be Alive” — Patrick Hernandez. The song was intriguing with great and soothing music that creates a romantic atmosphere all over.

  1. Yoonhi Kat Jaayega Safar from Hum Hai Rahi Pyaar Ke:

This song Yoonhi Kat Jaayega Safar from the movie Hum Hai Rahi Pyaar Ke released in the year 1993 was again copied by the composer Nadeem-Shravan from “Lovely Lady Of Arcadia” by Demis Roussos.

  1. Tip Tip Barsha Pani from Mohra:

The most romantic song “Tip Tip Barsha Pani” from the film Mohra which was released in 1994 was really something that everyone enjoyed to hear. Great composition and fascinating lyrics are the factors that made the song gain more popularity among the audiences. The music was composed by Viju Shah which was originally taken from Roll Down Di Rubber Man” by Dr. Alban.
