Legendary Bollywood Movies You Didn’t Know Were Copied Part – 3

 Bollywood is one of the biggest and prominent film industries where films of various choices, subjects, and budgets are made throughout the year. Every season, Bollywood has to offer new movies to the audiences. But most of us do not know that our films have got inspiration from other good movies of Hollywood. The legendary movies of the 2000s that were copied are:

  1. Dhamaal:

This movie of 2007 is purely based on comedy and is inspired from the movie “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. The last words of a thief made the whole situation funny within the movie where all rushed towards finding the treasure.

  1. Mere Dad Ki Maruti:

Mere Dad Ki Maruti released in 2013 was copied from the Hollywood film, “Dude, Where’s My Car?” Both the plot revolves around the fact and search of the vehicle that the two young men forgot where it was parked after a careless night.

  1. Aitrazz:

Aitrazz which was released in 2004 was an erotic thriller inspired from the American movie “Disclosure” where the plot is based on the sexual harassment that too at workplaces.

  1. Murder:

Murder was another thriller copied from the movie “Unfaithful.”Murderwas released in 2004, and the story of both the movies depicts the unfaithfulness of a wife who got involved in anextramarital affair with another man.

  1. Awaara Pagal Deewana:

Awara Pagal Deewana is a comedy with parts of crime, and the storyline of the movie is based on the plot of the English movie “The Whole Nine Yards” the Hindi movie was released in 2002.

  1. Bichhoo:

Bichhoo which was released in the year 2000 has the same story like that you will get to see in “Leon: The Professional.” In both the movies, the main character takes much interest in the girl next to his door whose family has been knocked down by some corrupt men.

Baghban, the film of 2003 was inspired by the movie, “Make Way For Tomorrow” where there are strangled, and disturbed relations and emotions within a family and in both, the film an elderly couple was forcefully separated from each other by their own children.

Alone, a horror movie which made in the year 2015 was an inspiration taken or copied directly from a Thai film with the similar name.

  1. Awarapan:

This film of 2007 was copied from “Bittersweet Life,” which was a South Korean Movie.
