Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan shocked his fans when he revealed that he is suffering from a ‘rare’ disease.
Irrfan Khan who is 51, has acted in more than over 100 films, including Bollywood hits Piku, New York, Maqbool, Haasil, Paan Singh Tomar and Hindi Medium. He has also acted in few very famous English movies which include Life of Pi and Slumdog Millionaire and The Amazing- Spiderman.

In 2013, Irrfan Khan won India’s National Film Award for his leading role in Paan Singh Tomar, a biopic about a top athlete who becomes a bandit.
Irrfan Khan has also won the Viewers’ Choice Award at the Cannes Film Festival for his portrayal of a lonely accountant who mistakenly receives a lunchbox intended for a colleague in the 2013 film The Lunchbox. It was also the only Indian film to be selected for competition at the London Film Festival that year.
In September 2015, Irrfan Khan was appointed as the brand ambassador for “Resurgent Rajasthan“, a campaign by the state government of Rajasthan. He lent his voice to the light and sound show at the war memorial for the Indian army at Vidhan Sabha Road, Jaipur. This show portrays the valour and courage of the Rajasthani soldiers and their triumphs in battle from olden days till today
Irrfan Khan is India’s best-known international actor and has also featured in a wide range of versatile roles in Bollywood. He is one of the finest and most respected actors of Bollywood.
